Not all 2008's Shelby GT Mustangs will be Vista Blue after all.
10-22-07: Just when we thought things were predictable,….laugh, laugh. It was announced earlier this year that there would be only one color for the 2008 model year Shelby GT Mustangs. The announcement said that all of the cars would be Vista Blue with Silver stripes. Okay, that’s cool. Evidently the dealers had something to say about it, since not everyone is in love with the color combination.
So, in a bid to keep the people who sell these cars happy, a small handful of the some 2500 Shelby GT Mustangs for 2008 will indeed stray from the Vista Blue / Silver scheme. Said to be less than 10% of the total production run, the first of the alternatively colored GT’s has turned up in Grabber Orange. It has been reported that 217 have been built in Grabber Orange.
There is no information at this time as to what mix of coupes and convertibles has been built, but you can be assured that the lucky dealerships who get one of these will be asking all the money + some.
