The 2010 Mustang Garage

TheMustangNews

Ford rolls out the bells and whistles for car show goers to show off the new 2010 Mustang and its many accessories.

02-07-09: Have you ever been overly enthused with a car, and just couldn’t get enough of it? You’ve read the brochure over and over…you see more of them on the road then ever before…(no doubt a kindness bestowed upon you by the auto Gods)…you arrange your mashed potatoes in the shape of the car…ok…maybe that‘s just me, but you get the idea!

Well if you can relate to all this (except maybe the mashed potatoes) then this little gizmo at the North American International Auto Show…is just what the doctor ordered.
It’s a computer that is dedicated to building your very own 2010 Ford Mustang. It is really quite detailed and includes the ability to add all of the options you have been dreaming of.

Known as the “Mustang Garage” below is a walk-thru of just what you can do with this great little toy…

This opening screen starts you off with the ability to build yourself a fastback, or a convertible…

The below examples are pretty self explanatory, but are only a taste of the options you can add to your very own Mustang. Choose your color and your wheels…

As you add the options, you can even spin the car around so you can see what your adding. 3 different views…front, rear and side.

More hood stripe choices than you can shake a dipstick at… 5 side stripe colors to choose from…

And some sort of mathematical formula is required to figure out just how many spoiler choices you get…

Hood Scoops, Quarter Louvers, and even the Decklid Panel!

Mirror Skull Caps, and last but certainly least, the grille is your choice as well…

After all that fun, one of the neatest features is at the very end. You actually get to print your very own Mustang. General admission to the North American International Auto Show: $12.00... Bringing home your own “Dream Mustang” mini-brochure…(to model your mashed potatoes after) priceless…
