07-17-07: Who would have ever thought that Ford would revive the Mach 1 namesake. Well of course we know that they did just that some time back with the 2003 and 2004 model run. The cars gained an immediate and loyal following. That following was also immediately met with the The 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owner’s Club (www.Mach1Registry.com) which celebrated its five year anniversary at the All Ford Show in Carlisle, PA on June 1-2, 2007.
At the Carlisle event, there were over seventy ‘03-‘04 Mach 1’s in attendance. This year, a separate area
was designated for the Mach 1 Reunion, which included Mach 1’s from all years. Over 150 Mach 1’s were
on display. Of course you cant go to any regional Mustang show of size without meeting a local group of Mach 1 owners who have their cars proudly displayed. The group has grown and gained prominence to be sure.

This September the group is promoting their innagural 2003-2004 Mach 1 Showdown. The event is to be held on September 21st ,2007 at the Summit Racing Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH. The Mach 1 Registry, which is an online resource to facilitate tracking of the 2003-04 Mach 1 Mustangs
and their owners. David and Tamara Wagner started the website on May 22, 2002, when the cars were
available to order through Ford dealers. Mach1Registry.com has grown from a small owner’s list to
currently over 8000+ members worldwide, with over 750,000 messages posted in the message forums
and over 6000 photos stored in a photo gallery. The board is a great source for information exchange for
Mach 1 owners and enthusiasts. To participate in the forums, Mach 1 ownership is not a requirement and
the message board is open, so those visitors can browse and read posts without having to join.
Club members have a variety of central gatherings at various shows throughout Canada and the US and
many regional events during larger Mustang shows. The events are very informal and fun, with dinner
cruises to local restaurants and photo shoots when and where possible.
Dave has spent countless hours designing, upgrading and maintaining the site. He is grateful that Tammy
strongly supports his hobby/passion, despite it being a slight obsession at times!
The Wagners are not new to Mustangs. They have had their share over the past decade or so, starting
with a 1971 Mach 1 followed by a 1972 Convertible, 1988 GT, 1994 GT, 1999 GT, 1976 Cobra II, 1977 &
78 Mustang II Ghias and their 2003 Mach 1. They currently still have the last four in the stable.
