On April 1st 2011, Ford Racing invited customers, performance partners, Mustang enthusiasts and Ford/UAW employees to the Auto Alliance Plant in Flat Rock, Michigan to celebrate the 2012 Cobra Jet “Job Done” event.
The special run of factory built race cars were delivered to customers around the United States and even to Puerto Rico. The run of 2012 Cobra Jet Mustangs marks another batch built in the past few years, a practice that is becoming more commonplace.
The video below features interviews with some of the build team, engineers and customers who attended the special event. Fifty 2012 Cobra Jets were built.
