Last fall, Vortech announced a limited run of 20th Anniversary black finish supercharger systems for the Mustang. A limited run of only 100 “Anniversary Edition” Series Supercharging Systems has been made available.
These systems a truly unique with a unique stealthy black finish on the supercharger, ducting, and intercoolers, and features a special numbered Anniversary serial tag on the supercharger.
The good news is that the 20th Anniversary systems are still available for the 2005-2010 4.6L Mustang GT and the brand new 2011 5.0L Mustang GT with Vortech’s self-lubricated V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger, and will also include the charge air cooler, fuel components, and programming.
They provide a unique look for that stealth feel and vibe, or make the perfect addition to your custom theme build.
Complete System Included Components and Features
- V-3 Si-trim compressor with 3.60” drive pulley
- Manifold boost pressure: 7.5-8.5 psig @ redline on stock engine
- Supplied SCT programmer re-flashes the ECM with a safe, custom Vortech calibration for 91-octane fuel.
- Fuel system upgrade includes fuel rail spacers and high flow replacement fuel injectors
- Air inlet assembly includes:
- High-flow roto-molded ducting. Mates to OEM airbox and some aftermarket “CAI” MAF/inlet assemblies
- OEM replacement K&N panel filter
- Silicone sleeves and reducers
- Stainless steel clamps
- PCV and breather hose provisions for both automatic and manual transmission applications
- Replacement engine coolant pipe and hose assemblies
- Engine coolant reservoir replacement assembly
- Billet aluminum and steel supercharger mounting bracket assembly includes idlers, drive belt and all hardware. Mount features multiple position idler location for a wide range of belt and pulley fits.
- Discharge components include:
- Welded air/air charge cooler. 24”L x 13”T x 3.5” cooler core.
- Mandrel bent 3” aluminum charge tubes for high flow and minimal weight
- Stainless steel clamps
- Silicone sleeves
- 98mm I.D. MAF housing configured for “blow-through” use. Integrated air-straightener upstream of the MAF housing.
- Vortech Maxflow Race Bypass Valve with filter
Installation time is rated at 8-10 hours.
