If you live in southern California or neighboring states you already know the annual Saleen Open House and Car Show is one of the main events of the year. The show is held at Saleen Headquarters in Corona, CA on Saturday, September 15th.

Being billed as the largest gathering of Saleens in the world, the show is open to not only Saleen vehicles but includes classes for other Mustangs, Fords as well as Chevrolet Camaro, Dodge and Challenger models to boot.

The show will have more than thirty separate judged classes for Saleen and SMS vehicles however, including this year expanded classes for the 2005-2009 S-Series Mustangs. And for those who aren’t looking for their cars to be judged, there will be a special display only class, encouraging people to bring their daily drivers and fixer-uppers.

The Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club (SOEC) will be on hand as well with a few of their own awards for longest distance driven, longest distance traveled and best non-judged vehicle.

Tours of Saleen’s factory and headquarters will be offered throughout the day. If you have never taken this opportunity it is well worth the trip on its own. Saleen has one of the cleanest and and most modern auto shops in the land.

Other perks of the event will include Steve Saleen’s presence to sign posters and vehicles. A full host of Saleen regalia will be available for show goers as well and there will be entertainment for the kids.
