First 2015 Saleen 302 Mustangs roll out of Corona

Citing their excitement for the coming year, Saleen announced the first 2015 Saleen 302 Mustangs are now shipping from their factory in Corona, CA.

The first model is their baseline Saleen 302 Mustang White Label which is the first of three which include the Yellow and Black Label models.

The first visuals you see on the new Saleen 302 Mustang White Label are a SALEEN rear tail panel and the same Panasport style 20-inch wheels we first saw in 2007 on the Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition.

Other styling tweaks include a new grille, quarter window trim, and a trademark Saleen deck-lid wing which provides additional down-force.

The White Label is the starting point for the Saleen line but includes an upgraded suspension with new springs and anti-roll bars.

Under the hood is the Mustang GT’s 5.0 liter V8 with a Saleen ECU calibration they say brings power up to 450 horsepower.

The interior also gets a few Saleen touches, logos and a serialized plaque denoting its numerical place in the year’s production.

They point out that pricing for the 2015 Saleen 302 White Label starts in the low $40,000s. Saleen will unveil their mid and top-level Yellow and Black Label 2015 Mustangs in March.

“These are the best Mustangs I have ever built” asserted Steve Saleen, CEO of Saleen Automotive. “We are in for a thrill ride as this car will take us to levels we have never seen before.”
