Mods: Ford Focus RS Carbon Fiber Engine Cover

Ford Focus RS Engine Cover 1

The hot new Ford Focus RS is slowly gaining the attention of the aftermarket and the latest item made available for it is the new carbon fiber engine cover from California Pony Cars.

Mostly known for their Mustang parts, California Pony Cars now has available a full carbon fiber dress up engine cover that replaces the stock ABS plastic unit on the 2016-2017 Ford Focus RS.

It’s made from genuine 2×2 twill weave carbon fiber and finished smooth with a high quality show quality gloss UV resin.

It comes as a single piece you use your factory hardware with. This means you remove the insulation, grommets and the Ford Performance emblem from your own plastic cover and use them with the new carbon fiber unit.

The cover is designed to fit like the factory OEM part and can install pretty quickly and easily once you transfer over your factory hardware to it.

It definitely looks much better than the cheap ABS plastic engine cover from Ford and is a great way to spice up the engine compartment if you show your car.

It does come at a price however with an MSRP of $399.95 however. It is the price of carbon fiber dress however.

It comes from California Pony Cars, a company that has been in the business of making OEM quality reproduction parts since 1982.
