The "10" Engine

Lot 1049: 428 Cobra Jet. This is one of the most perfect and correct engine compartments we have every seen

Lot 1015: We caught this owner in the act of cleaning. Nervous habit that, it was not necessary.

Lot 99: Was a sight to behold. 1968 GT-500 witha 428 Cobra Jet. Sold for $175,000 plus fees.

FR-500C: 5.0 Cammer race engine in Number #05. Not all that clean, but damn nice looking.

Buyer Beware

Buying a custom car at auction for investment is as much a risk as building one for such. Rarely do you ever get your money back.

Lot 50.1: Recreation of Boss 302. Car was here last year and sold for $43,200. The car is a not so well done fake. Unfortunately Boss 302's never came in a convertible nor with an automatic.

Add shade-tree mechanic mods, garage quality paint and you have an overpriced paperweight. The car resold this year for a disappointing $32,566.

Lot 916: This car sold at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach 2006 for $49,680 and again here at Scottsdale this year for $49,500. With fees, transportation , and brain damage it was hardly a wise investment.
