Get Your Mustang Makeover At Tulsa This Weekend!

Staff Report

Classic Design Concepts lays out mod-shop at Mid America Ford Meet.

06-16-09: A growing trend the big shows this year is the growth of the on-site mod garage. Show goers can have their car transformed before their eyes with new performance or appearance parts right from the manufacturer. This new phenomenon made a big splash at the Mustang 45th Anniversary Show in Birmingham, AL last April where Classic Design Concepts (CDC) and Ford Racing both had big displays with shops set up.

People could roll their cars over and get new parts installed by the manufacturer while crowds of cheering fans looked on. It becomes as much a part of the show experience for both owners and spectators alike to see builds going on. Owners get a theatrical experience to having their car transformed, while offering good prices and factory trained installation they can count on.

CDC modified 35 Mustangs at the Birmingham show and sees a growing popularity in this new arena for shows. They are seeing that many of their customers save up in anticipation of show events, planning to have their car accessorized.

CDC has announced they will be doing their Mustang Makeovers again this weekend at the Mid-America Ford and Team Shelby Nationals (www.midamericafordmeet.com) in Tulsa, OK. CDC will be offering special installation and pricing on their popular shaker hood systems, light bars, front and rear spoilers, sequential taillights, hood struts and hood pins.

“We’re offering some fantastic show specials on many of our most popular 1994-2010 Mustang accessories,” said George Huisman, president of Classic Design Concepts. “CDC technicians will be on hand to professionally install them for visitors during the show on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28”.

The CDC Pit Stop is a dedicated on-site shop that will be stationed at the Marriot Southern Hills hotel at 1902 East 71st in Tulsa. CDC recommends making pre-arrangements by June 20th to get best scheduling times for your makeover. “We’ll even take some before-and-after pictures of your ‘Mustang Makeover’ and post them at the show and on our website to make your fellow Mustang enthusiasts jealous.” , added Huisman.
