Episode 12 released - Ford Racing Heritage on parade.

Must See TV: Bold Moves - The Future of Ford

Ford opens internet window to their soul with new documentary series.

09/13/06: Nothing makes you forget about the realities of life more than a good dose of racing. Episode 12 of the Ford Bold Moves video documentary series takes a break from the deep dark dirge of corporate restructuring and spotlights its past and present racing glories.

Sharing tid-bits and background of the company’s place in racing, Bill Ford, Jim Owens, Hau Thai Tang and Edsel Ford II really take you to a happier place. This, a place where the company is at the top of its game. Well, except for the Grand Am Cup Series, where Ford did not have such a good game this year.

Bill Ford shares the stage with racing’s greats at an event earlier this year where he recognized Jack Roush and his NASCAR prowess as being a keystone in Ford’s present day racing heritage. Although his injection of the tagline "Bold Move" at the end of his remarks was a little awkward. The company has been tagging the buzz term into everything these days which is a strategy, but when pasted to things that Henry Ford himself did 100 years ago, it is reaching.

Episode 12 is a well rounded short that covers most of the bases relative to today’s pop culture vision of racing and their place in it.
