And my thanks to you and your site for the interest in writing an article on my registry site. My goal was to try and catalog all the 2007 - 2009 GT/CS which in itself is a huge task since there is appox. 18,000 + cars built for the 2 1/2 years. So far I have been able to document only 3,214 so far but I can say that I have window stickers for all cars and most of the build dates for them. I am looking forward to working with you on my project.

Here is a copy of the email I recieved today from Ford about the production numbers for the GT and GT/CS. This only breaks it down by Coupe/Convertible.

**There was an error on the email from Ford for 2009 there were 921 Convertibles and 1,698 Coupes for the GT/CS**

Thank you for contacting Ford Motor Company. As per our phone conversations, here are the productions numbers we discussed.

GT COUPE = 53,307

GT COUPE CA SPECIAL=5,885

2008

GT CONV= 10,538

GT CONV CA SPECIAL= 2,459

GT COUPE = 37, 006

GT COUPE CA SPECIAL=5,000

2009

GT CONV= 3,063

GT CONV CA SPECIAL= 921

GT COUPE = 13,359

GT COUPE CA SPECIAL=1,698

I completed my database updates to add all possible factory options that the GT/CS could have been built with. So check out the stats pages for each car color to see the current breakdown.
