SEMA 2009: CGS/Whipple Flatback 2010 Mustang

This flat finish 2010 Mustang caught out eye because it was at first glimpse a Roush. While it carries much of the Roush body package, many other custom touches reside on this sinister looking car.

CGS Motorsports who built this car is a manufacturer of High Performance Cat Back Exhaust Systems and Air Intake Systems for late model cars, trucks, & SUVs. CGS has built several trucks and SUVs for the Big 3.

This customized 2010 Ford Mustang was designed by Sean Smith of SS Designs, and named "FlatBack"

This modern day street machine has a custom matte paint job by BASF Refinishes with paint preparation by 3M, 22" one-off Colorado Custom wheels, Pirelli Tires, coil over suspension by Eibach, body kit by Roush, Baer racing brakes, and a supercharger by Whipple Superchargers.

The matte paint work has become a very popular trend at this year's show. Looks great by I wonder what it is like to keep it looking great in the real world.
