Hey all,

Check out this really cool video that one enthusiast caught of the new 2010 Mustangs appearing in San Fran New 2010 Mustangs Appear in SF Dvorak Uncensored: General interest observations and true web-log. . The vid even ended up on Ford’s Mustang weekly roundup (PM me if you want the link). Hope you all enjoy, it’s pretty cool seeing all the different colors lined up!

Ouch! Anyone bother to read some of the comments? I had to stop after the first ten or so. What a bunch of uninformed dweebs! The sad part is the majority of consumers don't know any better and probably believe that sort of drivel.

edit: I couldn't take it anymore and left a comment of my own:

First of all, Ford has not requested ANY government help, unlike Chrysler and GM. They have only stated that they would like to have access to federal low interest loan guarantees in the event the economy worsens to the point where they need help or one of the other two does go under dragging Ford suppliers along with them. Therefore, the comments about the Dems not allowing Ford to build Mustangs are totally baseless.
Also, do you realize that Ford does build vehicles, including hybrids, that get better fuel economy than most other vehicles in their class? Do you realize that the 2010 Fusion Hybrid is EPA rated at 41 mpg city and 36 highway and has a city cruising range of 700 miles? That is several mpg better than the Camry Hybrid. Ford also holds over 100 patents on this technology. Get your facts straight before posting baseless drivel that does nothing to help solve our nations economic issues. Companies like Ford helped build this country, not tear it down.

Does anyone know if the antenna is finally retractable? All of the 2010s did not have a visible antenna mast. Were they retracted or just removed for security reasons?

edit: Looked at it again and realized not all were 2010s.

The antenna on the 2010 was moved to the rear quarter panel. It was done for lower wind noise, and I've heard it's also to keep the stouter electronics in the Ecoboost engines from interfering with the stereo reception. I'm pretty sure it's not retractable, as those went out in the 80's. Too many problems, and broke too easily. If it's not a full antenna, I have a feeling it's a "stubby" one similar to those found on the Edge or Taurus.
