I was on another forum and someone posted a thread about the 2010 -2011 f150. They are changing out the engine options from the 4.6 and 5.4 to a 3.5 L eco boost v6 AND a 5.0 L 4 valve engine. Both good for 400hp and 400 ft lbs. The 5.0 is said in the article to be shared with the mustang . AWESOME!

Welcome to TMN, and nice find!

The only thing that seems confusing is Ford offering a 400 hp engine as the base, and a 350 hp V6 as the option. I hope there's some truth to it, but I'll not be holding my breath until Ford sets the hook themselves.

Either way, I'm definitely looking forward to the five-oh again!!!

This has been around for a while and we welcome it. The news has been that 2010 will give us some new Mustang power options. That can only be good.

As soon as a 400 H.P. GT is available we are in. We love our 07 GT/CS but a GT with 400 H.P. would simply awesome.
