Thanks to Brad Barnett at TheMustangSource, photos of the upcoming ROUSH 2010 Mustang Stage 3 have come to light.
The ROUSH Stage 3 has historically taken position as the top dog in the line up of ROUSH Mustangs. Recently it has shared the same 400+hp 4.6 liter ROUSHCharged engines with the lesser 427R models. And by lesser we simply mean that the Stage 3 typically has most features and doo-dads as standard equipment that is optional on the 427R. That includes the full tilt suspension, brake packages, and the whole body package.
While ROUSH has not yet announced the car or the specifications, what will be includeded we have heard quite a bit from ROUSH dealers and sales representatives alike. For 2010 it has been not so well kept a secret that ROUSH is likely to be putting a version of the 500+ horsepower 4.6 liter TVS supercharged engine found in the 2009 P-51B. With 510 hp, that hand-built engine featured a larger Eaton/ROUSH supercharger and a forged bottom end allowing for lots of ground pounding with a 3/36 warranty to boot.
If this comes to pass, the ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang will once again be what Jack Roush calls the "Daddy Rabbit".
