Just noticed. If you look at the photo gallery in the link, the window sticker says 4.6l 3v V8. Can't imagine why the preproduction car would have a window sticker. I just hope there's a substantial horsepower increase.

The V6 model is definitely a step up from previous models. The FR-500 style wheels are a real bonus. What this car also reveals to us is that the car will be available in GRABBER BLUE

On the GT, the window sticker reveals that the GT is available with 19" wheels as an option. It also tells us that the GT comes with the 4.6L 3V V8 that we have known and only a 5-speed manual - again.

You know guys the old Ford trickle -down fashion of style from Cobra hand me down to the GT to the V6 is thankfully (seems like it) finally over! I must say that off all three designs, so far, unveiled, I desire the V6 front fascia the most, and the Grabber Blue with the faux GT500 rims, hey I just might order a V6 and save a few! Finally a fresh design JUST for the V6! Even though I have 2 GT's to call my own free and clear of payments, I love the V6 as that was my first car ever a V6 1979 Mustang Notchback (trunk)! Cant wait to see the cars unveiled completely! Cant wait to see what are the available options and the final line-up; the exterior and interior colour palate!? It seems that the Red GT has a Red Steering wheel as well just the like the 92 GT and the 95 GT, an all encompassing red interior! Lets hope so! It would be nice if Ford brought back the blue and green interiors, or some novelty to the drab gray, beige and black, ala the Focus RS interior treatment or the Falcon of FPV with coloured highlights! What do you think guys?

Time will tell, but all the writing on the wall says that is a non-starter

I have a strong feeling that the 5.0 will debut in a Boss 302 edition. It's about the only special edition they haven't done yet. That and the Mach1. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Boss this year, and maybe see the 5.0 go mainstream next year.
