Good points indeed.

Ford has historically had a low priority threshold for debuting all new motors in their latest new models. In 1994, we got an all new car with the same old engines. It was not until 1996 we got the modular engine that had been promised for five years.

Cheer up though. The news is that next year we will see a different list of engines and options, including likely that 5.0 and the TT V6.

As to the Camaro. GM has to be in business before all their 300 hp V6's and 400 hp V8's are going to mean much. But it still stings.
