The 2009 Mustangs Across America 45th Anniversary cross country drive had been initially limited to 500 cars.
Because we have hit 500 cars signed up for the epic adventure today, almost two full months ahead of the March 15th deadline, the limit has been lifted.
Originally only enough materials were made for 500 entrants including the commemorative coins, custom dash plaques, laynards, and all the other gear that comes with registration.
The manufacturers have been ordered to start producing more of all these items so that we can continue to allow new registrations through March 15th. On-site registration is not likely to be offered, so interested parties are urged to sign up early.
One this for sure, this drive will be making Mustang history.
