Wow is about all I can say to describe what happened in Birmingham last week. The Mustang Club of America and Ford knocked one out of the park with the Mustang 45th Anniversary Celebration. The setting of Barber Motorsports Park in the rolling green hills of Alabama could not have been a better place for the event.
Thousands of Mustangs from around the United States and the world were in attendance with over 30,000 people on hand. The event was as well run as any I have ever been to. The MCA and the Magic City Mustang Club deserve a huge round of applause for a job well done…..a job well beyond expectations.
Ford Motor Company also gets major kudos for showing a level of involvement at the show like never before. They were an integral part of the festivities and displays in a way that brought enthusiasts close to the company, up close and personal.
There will be much more to say as our event coverage unfolds. But it cannot be overstated that this was without question the BEST Mustang event that has ever been accomplished. If you were there you know. If you missed it, you really missed one for the books.
