It's being reported by multiple sources today that Motor Trend has given th Truck of the Year award to the 2009 F-150. This will be the third time Ford has been recognised as such, and beat out competitors from Dodge and Hummer to win.
Only fully redesigned trucks were eligible, narrowing the field to four.(One of them was some import truck, so we know it stunk
).
In a tough truck market, it's important for Ford to remain king of the hill, and Motor Trend's TOTY award is heavily regarded as a solid achievement.
