Ford's August sales up 21%

We are one of the only manufacturers to post back to back monthly gains.

Nothin' but good news, especially F-series being up. Larger profits on our trucks should get us in the black to stay.

That is of course great news. F-Series trucks being up I think is the take-away of the day.

Mustang sales are however down again. We just posted a story on this: Why Isn't The 2010 Mustang Selling?

Don't forget that regardless of whether or not it met the mileage guidelines, the Mustang was "mysteriously" not eligable for the Cash for Clunkers program.

Typical Obama bullsh*t. If it doesn't fit the image of the Obamacar, it doesn't qualify.

I think that had to have had an effect on sales of any "musclecar" last month. Pair that up with a new powertrain, and a late summer slowdown, and you start to see why.

How about Fusion sales breaking 20,000 for the first time (up 132%)?

I can't wait to see everybody else's numbers, so we can get at our market share percentage, which I believe is the true indicator.
