It is one hell of a cool car
GM has built a dozen or so of this new Cadillac Presidential Limosuine. The photos are of the working prototype.
Information about all the specs is classified, but the information out there says this is a specially built car that shares no significant sheet-metal with other Cadillacs. It is huge in scale, about the height and width of a Cadillac Escalade EXT, but longer and proportioned like a sedan. It does have Escalade headlights.
The thing is an armored tank with 5" thick walls and glass. It is air sealed to protect against chemical attacks.
The chassis is said to be a modified GM Top-Kick medium duty truck frame and likely has a big turbodiesel under the hood. More information will be released about the new Cadillac soon. It will be the first Presidential limousine that does not have a model designation like DTS, STS, etc as it is not classified as a car or a truck.
The car will debut at the inauguration of our next President
