What is your favorite Mustang generation?

Everyone has a top 5 like in our article here: My Top Favorite Mustangs Of All Time

For you, what are your favorite Mustang years? Choose as many generations that apply above.

Look at the Fox bodies representin'!

You know for the "untraditional" Mustang that had "none of the Mustang's styling cues", it seems to have a following.

I love the 1970 Boss 302, and the 2005-2009 Stangs wrer awesome. Having driven the 2010 GT, it's absolutely the most amazing Mustang ever. That being said, I cast my vote for the trusty 5.0. Why? Well, obviously I have owned a few, but more than that, they were the Mustang I wanted when I was in high school. They had all the street credibility. Everyone talked about the 5.0. It wasn't the Mustang, it was the 5.0.

Can't wait for the 2011 5.0......

Yep. The Fox is actually one of the only Mustang generations that didn't have any of the Mustang "DNA" as part of its character or style. Even the Mustang II borrowed from cars of the past.

It is an interesting point, and they indeed have a following. I still miss my 1989 5.0 LX. It was not a perfect car, but sure was nice. It had a clean style too.
