Hot Product: Street Scene center fog-light grille for 2005+ Mustangs

06-19-06 TMN Staff: One of the hottest new Mustang products we have seen this year is this new grille from Street Scene Equipment. Capturing the look from the 1967 Shelby’s, this new grille mounts the GT fog lights inboard. It is a cool look that is bound to get attention in at your local shows and even gas stations.

Street Scene Equipment uses the same OE style injection molding with the honeycomb pattern of the standard Mustang GT grille. It uses the same hole pattern and mounting for the fog lights as the factory grille but mounts them to the center. The piece is molded in the same color and texture of the factory grille shell so it looks factory. Street Scene has worked for some time on getting the quality and fit of this piece up to their standards, which is why it is only now coming onto the market.

Mounting is easy, using the same hardware and holes as the factory grille. No cutting or drilling is required. Thus this is a cool easy mod you can do at home without power tools on a Saturday. Because it is molded in the same plastic color as the factory pieces, no painting is necessary either. Included in the kit are two easy-connect wire extensions to allow relocation of the factory fog lights to the center.

Right now, the Street Scene center mount grille kit will only available for the GT, but they are working on a V6 version as we write this. The kit is going to retail in the $250-275 range depending on your local dealer which should begin carrying them by mid July.
