Hot Products: Vintage sound & shine from Virginia Classic Mustang

Cool new products make restoring and maintaining your vintage Pony easier!

10-05-06: If you are the owner of a vintage Mustang looking to replace or upgrade some of the hardest to find interior parts, Virginia Classic Mustang parts has just made your life easier. They are offering a number of all new reproduction parts this holiday season that in the past have been near impossible to get on the used market in good or useable condition.

Starting in the sound department, Virginia Classic Mustang now has an all new reproduction 1965-66 Mustang AM/FM radio. A rare factory option, this is a super nice reproduction of the original, rare AM/FM radio with modern internals. Features
include 200 watts of power, CD Controller, dual RCA pre-outs (for amplifier), 4 speaker hook out (if desired), separate bass and treble, fader, and manual tuning.

There is also a rear auxiliary input for your I-Pod or other MP3 player, satellite radio, and CD changer. Is that cool or what. Retail pricing is expected to be around $299.95.

For interior restoration, fast-back specific parts are very hard to come by. This is especially true of the rear trim parts that get worn, broken, cracked or corroded over time. On 1969 and 1970 fastbacks, the sheet molded compound rear trim panels that surround the rear seat area are extremely difficult to find in good condition. When you do, they are mint priced at swap meets and on E-Bay.

Virginia Classic Mustang now offers new reproduction 1969-70 Mustang rear interior
quarter trim panels. The rear corner panels fit between the larger side interior panels and the trap door. The longer trim panel fits above the trap door. These are exact reproductions made of ABS plastic with the correct grain. They can be purchased individually or a complete set for around $290.

The coolest thing yet is the new reproduction 1967-68 Mustang rear interior
quarter chrome vent grilles. These are the finned grills that go on the upper interior quarter trim of a 67-68 Fastback. The originals are prone to pitting and corrosion from moisture, peeling chrome, and faded paint. Finding used ones that are at all nice has become virtually impossible.

These reproduction vent grilles are beautifully chromed with correctly painted black areas. They come complete with installation hardware. These retail for about $109. Virginia Classic Mustang also sells chrome vent slider and knob kits too.
