Saleen offers the "Heritage" body kit on the open market.
03-18-08: One of the hottest looking Mustangs that has come out in the past couple of years in the eyes of many is arguably the 2007 Saleen / Parnelli Jones Edition Mustang. The car blended the classic styling cues from the 1970 Boss 302 that Parnelli campaigned so famously with modern touches at the front grafted from the 2005 Mustang concept. Namely the front fascia and headlight wings, the front end looks almost identical to the stunning concept car that signaled the look of the coming 2005 Mustang.
Saleen’s stylists did such a great job on the details with the details and styling modifications 2007 Saleen / Parnelli Jones Edition Mustang, that the company chose to build the H302 “Heritage” series Mustangs in 2008. These cars with a few minor tweaks are essentially identical to the PJ edition Mustangs, except that they are not limited to 500 copies. Furthermore, you can opt for a supercharged version of the Saleen custom built 302 engine.

Now you can build your own custom vision of the Saleen PJ or the Heritage editions.
The parts are available as a complete kit or you can buy the individual parts separately. A complete package (listed below) retails for around $2499 and you can add the custom dual exhaust for an additional $899. This is right in line with most top end body kits on the market, so we would not say all that overpriced.
