New high tech digital air meters allow tuning.


03-02-09: Abaco Performance just unveiled their newest product, the DBX. A product they claim is the world’s first high-tech digital mass air meter.
 
What makes the DBS mass air meter different is a “digital response filter“, which is used to filter out much of the “noise” associated with the mass air flow sensor. This is accomplished without sacrificing response time to air flow changes.

The company says this integrated design dramatically improves vehicle drivability for those experiencing camshaft intake reversion or pressure surge (for turbo and/or superchargers).  The DBX’s digital processor design allows you to download any of Abaco Performance’s base calibrations, or a custom calibration of your own design. 

This is all made possible by a FREE software download from their website.  With this software and DBX’s digital design, this DBXÔ is truly a tunable mass air meter. The DBX’s patent pending multi-sensor design allows the meter to be installed in any configuration, at any clock rotation with little or no signal deterioration.

These features allow the DBX  mass air meters to be used in a suck through application or a blow through design such as a turbo application with the same mass air meter.

The DBX mass airflow meter is universal, not vehicle specific  and is currently available in (3) different configurations, with wire harness adapters for specific Fords.
