AmericanMuscle show raises over $60k for Make A Wish

The big annual Mustang car show in Pennsylvania continues to grow into now one of the largest draws in its region, and this year’s event built on its reputation with thousands of cars and raised over $60,000 for charity.

The show hosted thousands of attendees and show cars this year, held August 13th at Maple Grove Raceway in Pennsylvania. The day was filled with exciting events such as contests for dyno pulls, revving, and burnouts along with displays from some of the largest names in the muscle car world.

In the midst of all this excitement we were able to grant a young man’s wish in the form of his dream Mustang. In partnership with the Make-A-Wish foundation, AmericanMuscle transformed Austin Fox’s own car and revealed it to him at the show.

A drag strip parade was held in honor of the charity’s involvement with total donations hitting an all time high for the event.

The backstory of Austin, he’s a 19 year-old gearhead from Chicago who has been waiting years for the chance to fulfill his wish.

After searching the country for his perfect Mustang, his family friend and mechanic introduced him to AmericanMuscle and aftermarket mods. His wish was instantly clear. He wanted his Mustang transformed by the AmericanMuscle team.

The crew at AmericanMuscle jumped into gear and sketched Austin’s vision down the last detail. With less than a month to deliver Austin his wish, they went to work building his S197 Mustang to match the vision he described.

Unveiled at the 2016 AmericanMuscle, Austin’s overhauled Mustang left him speechless and excited for car shows and cruising.
